Rating: 87/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the October 2010 issue. While showing a nice mix of slow-to-show pieces, this Pinot begins on a restrained note in the nose, and, while it is firmly structured and still a bit hard at the edges, it tastes of well-defined, oak-enriched fruit. Pairing with pork roasts will help soften its stance as will a couple of years in the cellar.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now. Further bottle aging can improve this wine.
