Whoa what a treat. Pie crust, oak, and cinnamon with a touch of tart pomegranate on the nose. Nice raspberry on the palate with a nice soft finish. Napa Value.

    At this price point, this is a fantastic cab... Villa Mt. Eden is one of my favorite value brands as it consistently delivers. Juicy fruits, red and blue, with subtle hints of smoke and leather, and green pepper (a la cab franc which I think may be blended in). Light bodied for a Napa cab--very friendly everyday drinker.

    90 pts - Blueberries, raspberries on nose. Palate carries oak, blueberries, flower petals, vanilla. An amazing value @ $12 a bottle.

    Chocolate plum and toasted oak aromas spill out of this dense ruby-hued wine. Flavors of black cherry mushroom and a hint of smoky cedar are nicely integrated into the rich palate

    Spiced black plum aromas intermixed with caramel cherry flavors aregenerously displayed in our 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon. On the palate,subtle oak nuances and earthy currant characters combine to present arichly textured tapestry reflective of its Napa Valley roots.
