An outstanding value wine... great fruit, a very 'by the book' shiraz with raspberries, plums and cinnamon jumping out with some hints of American oak (?)... not over board but great value...

Focused, with good dark coffee, black cherry and dark licorice notes followed by a loamy hint. The finish is dark, juicy and driven. Drink now through 2009.

Concha y Toro’s Syrah offerings begin with the 2006 Syrah Marques de Casa Concha. Medium purple-colored, the nose exhibits plum, blueberry, and black cherry aromas leading to an uncomplicated but ripe and flavorful wine for drinking over the next several years.
