2009 vintage - I'm reviewing this after the fact, so the details are little fuzzy. This is a pretty good Madiran I would buy again. Nice tartness & those rich, deep berry flavors, almost a licorice-like bitterness, that makes the wines of southwestern France great. Wish I'd taken better notes at the time, but I'd buy it again, so.
