- Gambero Rosso 'Tre Bicchieri' 2008. 14%abv. 80% Aglianico 20% Piedirosso from Campania. After fermentation the wine is aged in Allier oak barriques for 12 months then a further 12 to 18 months in bottle before release. This is a truly sensational wine. The Aglianico grape, while relatively unknown in the Uk, makes some truly fantastic wines. This wine has a deep red colour, with an elegant and intense bouquet. Wonderful big fruit flavours, full and rich, plenty of body with superbly balanced tannin and acidity. This wine is sensational. A 'Super Campanian!' Fattoria Villa Matilde Website
