Butterscotch and black cherry on the nose with just a touch of herbs and a piercing violet top note. On the palate this is very fresh with great acids and unobtrusive tannins that are very soft but add volume in the mouth. The fruit has a muddy, earthy tone that adds nice depth and a touch of complexity to the pure fruit. 88pts

Ripe raspberry and an earthy minerality. Red fruit and cigar box on the palate. Balanced tannic core. Very enjoyable!
This is absolutely worth checking out ASAP. Had 3 bottles from Malene and Kim (thanks a lot:). One of the most popular wines since 1999 Catena Cabernet Sauvignon. Light cherry red, with lots of fruit, sweet fat tannins, and the oak/vanilla well balanced into this hot wine.
Dry with a strong, yet fast dissipating fruit.
A lighter, dryer Sangiovese but certainly smooth and well balanced with its low tannins. The 2005 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano presents hints of minerals, smoke and tobacco along with the traditional black cherry notes.

A showcase wine for Austria's classic white grape variety that comes from the loess and loam soils typical of the lower parts of the Heiligenstein vineyard which belongs to the village of Kammern. Fragrances of sweet vegetables and fruits mingle with elegant spice aromas; this wine is equally supple, substantial and satisfying. A lovely companion for braised or breaded, pan-fried white meat and poultry, but also delicious with vegetables, especially asparagus.

A wine that clearly has a wonderful pedigree. Shows a subtle rendering of black and red fruits with a hint of truffle. Very focused and clearly an ager.
The lieu dit of "San François" is located in the village of Volnay in the Côte de Beaune. This comes from a husband-wife duo with winemaking in their blood. This is velvety on the palate, with beautiful red fruit that's amazingly forward at the moment.
Rich and smooth, this Rioja Crianza comes from a very traditional producer in Spain. CVNE was established in the late 1800s as a company that believed in maintaining tradition while using innovative techniques. Bright cherry flavors, balanced acidity, and notes of vanilla on the finish characterize this true Rioja.
Vieux Ch. Certan, Pomerol displays deep black-red, cherry-red at the rim
followed by a bright berry fruit nose; succulence on the palate, lovely weight,
depth and texture. Good density. Tannins are plentiful but ripe with a long
finish. A real sense of minerality to the wine, clearly from a noble
terroir.
(Alun Griffiths MW, BBR Wine Director - Mar 09)
