Vieille Ferme Cotes du Luberon Blanc 2017

External Review:

Fresh, smooth and spicy with lush texture and ripe, aromatic flavors; clean, long and balanced with style and good length.Bright yellow with a hint of green. This elegant and fruity wine comes from vines grown high on the slopes of the Luberon Mountains, one of the Rhone Valley's coolest vineyards.

Great value summer sipper, good for a patio party with light fare. A little tart on the finish. Served with lobster salad and corn-on-the-cob. Acidity, lemons, some floral. I paid $12 for a magnum.

Good acidity and interesting mineral and citrus notes. It was hard to pinpoint many distinctive aromas or flavor, but the balance and weight was good. For the price a good every day wine. I used it in cooking some turkey burritos and it worked wonderfully.

This is a very nice everyday white wine. It was nice and crisp. A good value. It went very nicely with my Italian sub.

Pale yellow. Lemon, green apple and mint on the high-pitched nose. Dry and wiry, with good clarity to its citrus and orchard fruit flavors. Finishes with moderate length and refreshing bite. On the simple side but thereandrsquo;s a lot of clean, juicy fruit here, and you canandrsquo;t deny the bang for the buck, especially in magnum. This would be an outstanding glass pour or carafe wine at a restaurant.

Bright and crunchy, with tasty lime and kiwifruit notes, followed by a tangy green fig edge on the finish. Shows good regional typicity. Drink now.

As shrewd consumers know, one of the best values in under $10 a bottle wine is La Vielle Ferme. In a challenging vintage, the 2008 La Vielle Ferme Côtes de Luberon blanc, a blend of Roussanne, Bourboulenc, and Grenache blanc, is a crisp, citrus-filled, pure, light-bodied, refreshing white that is meant to be consumed during its first year of life.

Bright pale yellow color with hints of green. Green fruits, corn and hazelnuts on the nose. Soft, balanced and deliciously aromatic. A blend of 30% Grenache Blanc, 30% Bourboulenc, 30% Ugni Blanc and 10% Roussanne.
