Vinho Verde is named from the color of the grapes when they are harvested. The region uses a blend of white grapes including Alvarinho, Loureio and Trajadura. Vinho Verde is crisp, lower in alcohol and with a touch of petillance_(very slight sparkle). This example is a delight with its floral, citrus character and bright lemon acidity.
