92+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar):The bouquet on the 2008 is superb, as it offers up a deep and complex melange of red and black cherries, sweet cranberries, vinesmoke, a touch of pepper, a very complex base of soil, coffee, herb tones and a touch of citrus peel in the upper register. On the palate the wine is medium-full, deep and very intensely flavored, with a great core of fruit, moderate tannins, tangy acids and excellent focus on the long and complex finish. I would give this beautiful wine a year or two in the cellar to really blossom, and the drink it over the next decade or so. 2011-2022+. (Sep/Oct 2009)
