Viansa Sangiovese Sonoma County Thalia 2005
Our 2005 “Thalia” Sangiovese is big and powerful, showing loads ripe blackberries, black cherry & spice that evolves into flavors of wild berries, licorice and dried cherry. The finish is long and clean with silky tannins. The 2005 Thalia is a blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. It recieved Best of Class in the 2009 Harvest Fair Wine Competition and Double Gold in the 2009 Sonoma Valley Wine Competition.
Big, bold and powerful, with bright flavors of blackberry, cherry and spice along with notes of licorice and dried cherry, Thalia is a blend of Sangiovese (90%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). An award-winning favorite at Viansa, the 05' Thalia won Gold Best of Class in the 2009 North of the Gate Wine Competition, Best of Class in the 2009 Harvest Fair Wine Competition, and Double Gold in the 2009 Sonoma Valley Wine Competition.
