Vial Magneres Banyuls Tradition 4 Years

Winemaker's Notes:

Aged for 4 to 7 years in oak and enjoyed as an aperitif, dessert wine, or in cooking. A family property for three generations, the estate consists of 10 hectares of vines spread out in small parcels across the best plots of the appellation. The terraced vineyards that grow along the coastline are cultivated entirely by hand. The soils are made up of metamorphosed Cambrian rocks composed of decaying chloric and sericitic schist. The traditional Banyul wine are subjected to long, oxidized maturation. The white Banyuls and vintage cuvées are bottled relatively young after some reduction. Olivier and Bernard Saperas are considered the "inventors" of Banyuls blanc Rivage and they remain the reference.
