surprised with the rich body once it's breathed, good everyday wine!

Ruby-red. Zesty red currant and strawberry on the nose, with gentle spiciness arriving with air. Fresh, focused and pure, offering sweet red berry flavors, silky texture and good finishing lift. A pretty, bargain-priced, easy-to-drink midweight with no rough edges.

Carmenère is a grape that originated in Bordeaux but is rarely planted today - except in Chile, where it seems to have found its niche. The resulting wines are fabulous: for proof, try this dark, full-bodied, and delicious everyday red.

Wine Tasting NotesThe color is characteristic of the variety, both deep and somewhat matte. Great aromatic intensity, with a vegetal character reminiscent of cooked green beans, black pepper, dried chili peppers, and dried grass. High acidity, persistent, and consistent with the characteristics of the variety. The tannins are especially round.

Carmenère is a grape that originated in Bordeaux but is rarely planted today. It's new home is in Chile and the results are fabulous. This is a dark, full-bodied red wine that's great as an everyday wine.
