Winemaker's Notes:

The Grande Dame 1989 has a magnificently brilliant green-gold colour, with a remarkably fine and persistent effervescence. The Nose is particularly striking for its complexity and its finesse. If the first impressions are dominated by fresh flowery and fruity notes, wrmer aromas of brioche and dried flowers come forth, giving the wine a considerable softness. A rare elegance is found in the mouth. Noble aromas of yellow flowers, white and citrus fruits create a very harmonious palette. The first impression of freshness is perfectly balanced by the exceptional softness and fullness which dominate the finish. This is an ideal wine for an aperitif.
