Editorial Reviews for Veuve Clicquot Brut Champagne
With a slightly cheesy note on the nose that, along with the patissiere tones, recalls cheese Danish this offers good complexity with ample yellow fruit and floral tones. Classic Veuve on the palate, a touch sweet, soft, caressing and easy with plenty of yellow fruit in a somewhat simple package. 88pts
[NYE] Reliable. Clean, round.
Golden yellow and bright with plenty of foam, this champagne has a nose rich and vinous with flavors of yeast, tropical fruit, and almond. Hints of fruit and spices in the bubbles and layers of strawberry, cognac, and fruit liqueur lead to a good finish.
Excellent QPR for a quality French champagne. Small bead, light and lemony, with some toasted notes to give it complexity. Our favorite budget champagne. With L, P, L, and L.
widow cliquot bouquet - sweet, caramel, burnt sugar taste - refreshing and palette cleansing, thin, unbalanced, one dimensional

Tightly knit, focused by racy acidity and a streak of minerality, this offers subtle notes of white peach, anise, biscuit and kumquat. The refined finish echoes a smoky note.
