TASTING NOTES: Vintage 2003The beautiful dark ruby color is followed by aromas of cassis, violets, roasted coffee, red berries, and liquorice. On the palate, you will taste flavors of cassis, vanilla, liquorice, coco, and chocolate. Good structure, spicy, long nice smooth finish with velvety tannins. Drink now or over the next 10 years.Vintage 2004Bursting through a color that is deep velvety red, the 2004 contains aromas of cassis, chocolate, cinnamon and a hint of black pepper. As promised by the classic aromas, the mouthfeel is rich, yet elegant, and the intense flavors are supported by luscious oak spice which sends the wine into orbit on the long finish.Vintage 2005The color of our 2005 tells you something: that this wine is seriously trying to get your attention, and it always succeeds. Purplish-red, with a dense black core, this wine is dark. It sends off spicy, classic Cabernet aromatics of raspberry, clove, cassis, with a hint of chocolate. These aromas are echoed as flavors on the palate, carried by a full body that has additional richness beyond our previous vintages. Look for a beautiful finish, graced by rich but sweet tannins and very nice length.
