Great wine with the garlic-parsley shrimp and pasta. Bright, young, peach-dominant Vermentino with gentle lemon acidity and a touch of tropical fruit.

Perhaps the finest VERMENTINO I have ever tasted) exhibits ripe, exotic fruit (banana, pear, mango, and lemons) and salty sea breeze-like notes.The irresistible 2007 Vermentino di Sardegna is made in a very pure, nuanced style, with plenty of detail to balance its generous fruit. This gorgeous white offers outstanding length and notable harmony. It is far from your typical Vermentino. I actually preferred it slightly to the estate's more important Is Argiolas bottling.

Straight forward, two dimensional, palate cleansing white with bright acidity and minerality and so much vitality that it almost seems effervescent. Great hot weather wine from the Island of Sardegna.
