Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Winemaker's Notes:

Intense, brilliant cherry-red, very pronounced, fruity aroma with noticeable spicy notes from new Word. Robust in the mouth and vinous, with pleasant Tanis and a harmonious, very persistent finish.

Tasting Notes:

"This wine begins with an intense deep red color. The nose is very fruity, composed of a mix of red and black fruits. In the mouth this wine is very well balanced with notes of black currants, black cherries and red currants paired with an integrated soft oak component. The bouquet and the palate of this wine will continue to evolve and age for years to come." - Pierre Seillan, Vigneron
