Not a fan. Lots of minerality, with a smoky, burnt ash finish. Very thin and weak on the palate. Not oaky or buttery at all. I wouldn't call this a grand cru. Similiar to the overrated Louis Jadot CC.

Winemaker's Notes:

Verget's Grand Elevage Bourgogne Blanc sports a sublte nose of toasted oak pears and apples. Light to medium-bodied broad and velvety-textured it is rich yet has excellent grip. This ample well-defined pure and poached pear-dominated effort is everything a Bourgogne should be.
