Reminds me of Cherry Dr. Pepper through a granite straw, just not as sweet. Named appropriately, the terroir is very expressive across the nose and palate. The alcohol is a little high for a typical Gamay, 12%, but this is not your typical Gamay. Interesting for a Gamay, but definitely not world class; however, a good, interesting buy at $14 a bottle. I would say that this wine is not good for cellaring. I would drink the 2007 now or within 2 years.
