This is a fresh and floral wine made entirely with Verdejo grapes from our vineyards, which are located at Villalba de Adaja at an altitude of 2,133 feet and a density of 10,868 vines/acre. The gravelly soil composition is limestone with some sand and clay in the subsoil. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks at 60.8ºF.
This is the pear and melon version of Verdejo without its occasionally grassy, almost Sauvignon Blanc-like character. Yellow apple, lemons, and orange blossoms add to the fruiit layers of this pear meat- and pear skin-flavored wine. The overall impression is of a gentle and very clean, thirst-quenching wine.
