Veramonte Sauvignon Blanc 2017

Winemaker's Notes:

Less than 30 kilometers east of the Pacific Ocean, our vineyards are influenced by cool morning fog and gentle sea breezes. A Sauvignon Blanc with citrus aromas such as lime and mandarin orange that mesh beautifully with floral notes. Smooth and fresh, this wine is ideal for pairing with a Caprese Salad or sea bass ceviche. Also a perfect summer aperitif among friends.

For fans of Sauvignon Blanc, this is a competent all-arounder. Good acidity, with some hints of fruit and minerals. For me, it had a relatively dry, light, and crisp finish. It's hard to beat for what you spend.

Melon and green apple aromas. Slightly effervescent with a bit of cream, green pepper, spice, lemon and a lingering herbaceous finish.

I love this sauvignon blanc! It's spicier than California...but not too much like some from New Zealand. Also has good acid but not so much to make you pucker. A great drinker!

Exceptional paired with homemade linguini with fresh clams, and at the proper temp, drinks very well paired with lively conversation.

Another nice, cheap wine. Very Citrus-y. Picking up some grapefruit, maybe some tangerine. Short, light finish - very tangy!

Casablanca Valley in Chile is the premier place to grow Sauvignon Blanc that ripens to perfection with rich fruit flavors complemented by lively acidity. Refreshing, light, crisp with citrus flavors makes it perfect for any occasion.

Wine Tasting NotesGood clarity with a light straw color. Fresh fruit, citrus, and herbs mingle with floral accents. Zesty, sensational medium body with flavors similar to the aroma-citrus, herbs, and fresh fruit that linger gently on the palate.

Weingut: VeramonteLand: ChileRegion: Casablanca ValleyRebsorte: 100% Sauvignon BlancAlkoholgehalt: 13,5 Vol. %Säuregehalt: 5,0 g/lRestsüße: trockenInhalt: 0,75 lEmpfohlene Serviertemperatur: 6 - 8°CFassreife: Ausbau in StahltanksLagerfähigkeit: 2 - 4 Jahre ab Jahrgang Auszeichnungen des Veramonte Sauvignon Blanc Reserva 2007:Mundus Vini Silber Weißwein > Chile > Casablanca Valley
