Salinity greets the nose with apple pie spice with delicate peach, pear and apple fruit. Slight minerality and floral tones. On the palate, it has a wonderful, elegant mouthfeel. Bright fruit flavor and good acid. Crisp yet with creamy flavor nuances. Slight hazelnut influence. Lush, juicy tropical fruits along with stone fruits and a honey quality. The acidity builds and lingers on the finish. Nice, fresh style of Chardonnay. 91 pts.

This easy drinking Chardonnay is full of intense exotic fruit aromas. It comes from the Casablanca region, north west of Santiago, an area that thanks to a wide range of microclimates is fast developing as one of Chile's most interesting vineyard areas. The warm fruit and gentle acidity here is impressive and the wine maker, Felipe Tosso, is justly proud of his success.
