this hasnt been out very long and i snatched it up because it scored 91 on Parker. not to mention its under $13. i love the minerality in this wine. great with food.

The 2005 Venta Mazzarron is one of the finest values in Spanish wine. Made from 100% Tinta de Toro, it offers up a smoky, complex bouquet with notes of mineral and blackberry. Ripe, sweet, forward, and altogether pleasurable, it can be enjoyed over the next 6-8 years. Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate 91 Points

Great bang for the back as far as Tempranillo goes. Wonderful nose, balanced acidity, long finish. Very forward but in a good way. Terroir AND crowd-pleasing potential.
