Venta la Ossa 2010

External Review:

The 2007 Venta La Ossa is a blend of 85% Tempranillo, 10% Syrah, and 5% Petit Verdot fermented and aged in New French oak for 12 months. Dark ruby-colored, it emits a pleasing aromatic array of Asian spices, black cherry, blackberry, violets, and mineral. Smooth-textured, forward, and sweetly fruited, it has good length and 1–2 years of aging potential. Drink it now through 2017.

This polished red shows density and balance, with black cherry, currant, licorice and espresso notes. Well-structured, balanced and sleek. Restrained now, but should evolve well. Tempranillo. Drink now through 2017.
