Veedercrest Cabernet Sauvignon St. Helena Napa Valley 2006

Member Review by EMark:

Big woody nose. Pleasant on introduction to the tongue, but nondescript. At the tip of the tongue it seems watery. It takes a while to get to the mid-palate and edges of the tongue before a carmelly, raisiny flavor is detected. "Carmelly, raisiny" would make one think this is an over-done "cooked" wine, but it is not. Everything here is pretty subtle--not overbearing. Quite subdued tannin. Now is probably a good time to be drinking this wine. I don't see much more aging potential, here. US$64.79 at Total Wine.
