What to Expect
"Black and bitter" in Italian, not surprisingly Negroamaro has origins in the Southern Italy's Puglia region and is an important grape both on its own and as a blending grape. It contributes a rich, slightly rustic mouthfeel to a finished wine imbued with a slightly burnt, earthy quality that accentuates deep, roasted plum and mocha toned fruit.

Reviews Add a Review
I drank this wine on a farm in Switzerland while enjoying a positively phenomenal home cooked meal. I was blown away by this bottle at the time and tracked it down in the United States. Of course it never tasted the same again :(. It is still a great wine for the money (under $10). Dried fruit flavors are prevalent on the palate with raisins, prunes, and spices. Mild tannins with a great finish.
