I love vacations, you can drink as much wine as you like, and never have to worry about the alarm clock disturbing your malolactic slumber! So, since I'm on vacation, we'll have plenty of time to explore some wonderful wines, and tonight we have a 2008 Valley of the Moon Zinfandel! You know how I love Zins, and this one has a cool label to add to the mystique of the wine. Soft and jammy, with easygoing cherry, caramel and herb flavors. Drink now.
Bright and zesty up front, this packs a lot of sour cherry flavor into a jammy, round finish. The texture is round and fat. Ready for calvesandrsquo; liver sautandeacute;ed with sweet Vidalia onions.
