Really Twizzler-y on the nose and a bit tight at first, but with some time to breath in the glass this opens up nicely. Some tart red berry fruit mixed with dark cherries provide a nice flavor balance. Almost a tea with honey flavor on the back end which I find very interesting.

Winemaker's Notes:

Wine Tasting Notes Complex aromas of blueberries and lavender accented by chanterelle mushroom, blackberry and cedar. The concentrated fruit, floral and earthy notes are balanced with ample acidity and supple tannins.

Tasting Notes:

Blackberry and spice aromas are enhanced by nuances of sweet tobacco. The rich and jammy fruit flavors intermingle with cedar and red and black peppercorn, leading to a long finish with a full tannin structure.
