Valley of the Moon Rosato di Sangiovese 2011
Editorial Reviews for Valley of the Moon Rosato di Sangiovese
Rose petals and suggestions of bitter almond grace the nose over lightly candied strawberry fruit. A little sweet on entry, this is round and lush, voluptuous almost, in an easy to drink style that shows nice strawberry fruit accented with a suggestion of herb. This finishes fairly dry with a little tannic bite adding some detail. 85pts
Bright strawberry hue, aromas of red fruits, rhubarb and spice; flavor notes of cherries, pomegranates, and red plums with good balance and a focused, moderately lengthy finish.
Sweet red fruit aromas. Strawberries, cherries, watermelon, layers of red fruit on the palate..easy to drink and enjoyable. liked the bottle too
Soft and funky. Delicate pears.
Wonderful bouquet, very refreshing, should be had ice cold. The color was beautiful. Worth a try.
[Gaige House] Tastes like sangria; fun poolside drink
