Valentin Bianchi Malbec Famiglia Bianchi 2006
Deep red color, great legs, aromas of earth and dried fruits, intense flavors of dark fruits, berries, earth and tobacco, and a silky smooth finish. Wonderful wine with decent complexity. Excellent value and would purchase again.
Takes a while to open up, but decent once it does. Has a nice "buttery" flavor to it
Nicely balanced with red currant, raspberry and plum. Earthy lingering finish. Very good value.
The usual appealing nose of red fruit - perhaps dominated by Christmas spice or mulled cherry with a touch of cranberry. Dark, opaque robe. Upon entry, more gentle mulling spice with cherry preserve and a touch of acidity. A creamy, medium finish but just a touch skinny mid-palate. Not as full and rustic as other similarly priced wines from the Argentine. A decent, tasty wine which pairs well with pizza. Suggest allowing air for 20 minutes.
Full dark fruit flavors, inky color, intense body with tobacco notes, earth and a velvety smooth finish.
Had an off, sour after taste.
