Wine Tasting NotesAn elegant and harmonious wine, well above the general quality of the vintage. It has abundant up-front fruit, opening into a rich mid-palate, dominated by bold black cherry and plum flavors, with a hint of spice and coffee. The mouthfeel is rich and concentrated with wraparound flavors that linger in the mouth.
Valdubón Reserva 2001: Dieser mehrfach ausgezeichnete Wein ist einfach zum GenieÃen! Er präsentiert sich im Glas tief-kirschrot und geht an den Rändern in Terrakotta über. Aromen von Vanille, Röstnoten und Kokosnuss werden durch die Lagerung in amerikanischer und französischer Eiche verliehen. Am Gaumen schmeckt er fruchtig nach Himbeere. Der Wein hat echtes Potenzial, das sich im lang anhaltendem Abgang zeigt. Er schmeckt vorzüglich zu Lamm-Chops.
