Rich core of dark fruit over aromas of violets and lavender. Creamy, dense palate of ripe red fruit. Luscious and velvety. Very nice. Slight hints of coca. Layered, supple and complex. - Tasted at Marché Bacchus 7/3/10

This has a subtle nose, but there's good crushed black fruit and mineral. Full-bodied, with firm, fruit-coated tannins and a clean finish. Unwinds in the glass. Valdicava Brunello character for half the price. Drink now. 2,160 cases made. -JS Wine Spectator. A Sangiovese wine from Tuscany in Italy. 2007 Valdicava Rosso di Montalcino 750ml
