User Reviews for Valdelana Crianza Red Blend

Winemaker's Notes:

Tasting Notes: It has a red cherry colour, bright. Very clean and complex in the nose, where you can feel the power of the fruit very well-balanced with the fine touch of oak. Full and powerful in the mouth with an elegant and fine aftertaste. Percentage Grape: 90 % Tempranillo, 5% Graciano, 5% Mazuelo grapes from our own vineyards located in the sub-region of Rioja Alavesa. Vinification Method: The grapes are destalked and after that they are sent to stainless steel vats where they ferment at controlled temperature of 28°C for 18 days. Then the wine is aged in new oak barrels for 12-18 months (depending on the year). 50% French and 50% American oak barrels. The wine rounds up in the bottle for another year. Alcohol Percentage: 13.5 % Aging Time: 12 months in new American-oak barrels Sugar Rate: 0-5 g/l
