External Reviews for Valckenberg Madonna Gewurztraminer
This easy drinking and approachable wine, slightly chilled, is a wonderful complement to roast pork and cheeses with its hint of spice on the nose and its drier character.
A full-bodied, medium-dry white with a lovely aroma of roses, accompanied by flavors of ripe peach and lychee. Fruity on the front, this Gewürztraminer finishes a bit drier with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon and clove. This wine is a perfect match with spicy cuisine, meatier seafood, poultry, and barbecue.
True German Gewürztraminer - as easy to find as it is to say. This grape comes into its own in Alsace, but wait. Golden and spicy with loads of extract and a moderate sweetness. With richness and flavor to spare, this wine will stand up to a huge range of pairings - gazpacho to garbanzo. Powerful spice rounded out with floral, pineapple, honey ripeness.

Very spicy, with tropical fruit and ginger-cinnamon aromas. Explosively fruity, opulent, soft and spicy. Very pretty wine, and very drinkable.
Golden in color with a floral nose of lilacs and rose petals followed by spice. Sweet in the mouth and a soft rich middle.
From Germany's Pfalz region, Valckenberg's proprietary Gewürztraminer is highly aromatic and perfumed with a spicy flavor and an off-dry character. Enjoy this wine with turkey, seafood, spicy Oriental cuisine and powerful cheeses.
