Enjoyed it, strong with slightly bitter taste. Tasted a smoother wine for cheaper.

Rating: 84/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the September 2010 issue. This is serious Merlot if it be judged by its muscular structure that demands a fair bit of cellaring, but the wine loses ground in its failure to deliver the requisite fruit to warrant the patience that it seems to require. Not ready now and not guaranteeing itself of a future, it will drive suitors away.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now. Further bottle aging can improve this wine.
