I have to admit I was excited to open this wine at a blind tasting event. I think my expectations put a limit on this wine but it was rated second best on a review of 5 wines. It had good fruit, nose and a fair amount of acid. It tasted "younger" than expected and didn't have the richness I was looking for and the finish still had bite like younger wines tend to have. This wine is drinks like getting a "B" in gym class. It should be a better grade, but someone just didn't put in the effort to justify excellence. There's my 0.02!
