Rare to see this variety coming out of California but a good representation. Aromatic from the start with a wonderful floral nose that is very inviting. Light bodied with a palate of jasmine with very floral characteristics to the finish. Hints of lime, green apple, and a delightful minerality that makes this quite refreshing. Wonderfully paired with seafood dishes.
The nose was fresh yet rich with seaside air, citrus, green olive and herbal tones. On the palate, ripe green apple with a citrus twinge kept it fresh and lively against medium-weight, almost oily textures. The finish was crisp with brisk acidity and lime lingering on the palate. (88 points)
Green herbal notes on the nose. Pretty, floral fresh aromas with some salinity and minerality. Brisk acid on the palate and mineral driven. Lots of fresh produce and green herbs. Some hints of salinity. Definitely a food friendly wine. Stony pear and quince flavors. 87 pts. 5/1/13
Light yellow color and for the bouquet I pick up some peach and apple. On the palate this wine is acidic and crisp coupled with tart apple and a hint of lemon with a slight peppery note. The finish was short but pleasant. Enjoyable
Soft sweet melon and pear, smooth with a soft rich/tanginess, dry.
