Complex, expressive and deftly balanced, this Merlot-dominated blend is often the highest-rated wine from Spring Valley—and its most widely available. In 2010, a long growing season marked by a cool summer produced a wine with crisp acidity and bright fruit flavors. Winemaker Serge Laville used only estate-grown grapes from Spring Valley's 111-acre vineyard in the rolling hills northeast of Walla Walla. 2,020 cases made.

Vivid, complex and inviting, offering a lively mouthful of red berry, black cherry, mint and mocha flavors that linger effortlessly against polished tannins. This has depth and distinction. Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. Drink now through 2020.
