Tasting Notes: 95 % Tempranillo and 5 % Mazuelo and Graciano. This wine come from the best grapes of the vineyards. All of them more than 20 years old. Aged 12 months in new barrels and 12 months in barrels 7 years old. Dark ruby with amber glints, savoury vanilla oak bouquet, garnet, elegant, attractive sweet middle palate with very good concentrated ripe fruit, excellent length, classy and complex. Percentage Grape: 50 % Tempranillo and 5 % Mazuelo and Graciano Soil: 50 % clay-limestone and 50 % sand-limestone Growing Climate: Very Good Date of Harvest: 9 October 1996 Type of Harvest: by hand Vinification Length: 30 days Maceration-Fermentation Vinification Method: Maceration and Fermentation de-stemmed grapes Vinification Temperature: 28° C Percentage New Barrel: 50 % Age of Barrel: 50 % New and 50 % (3-5 years old) Type of Wood: american and french oak Level of Toast: medium Malolactic: 10 days at 20° C after alcoholic fermentation Extract: 28,849 g/l Color Intensity: 6,832 Fining Collage: with fresh egg whites Date of Bottling: 1999/01/15 Alcohol Percentage: 13 % PH: 3,75 Aging Potential: from 15 to 20 years Aging Time: 24 months Potassium: 1300 mg/l Sugar Rate: 0-5 g/l Total Acidity: 4,45 g/l Free SO2: 18 mg/l Cork Material: natural Cork Size: 44 X 24
