Unti Vineyards Zinfandel Dry Creek Valley 2007

Member Review by Provecho:

A distinctive Zinfandel with a firm structure and a long dry finish. A burst of boysenberry of the top, rounded out by luscious jam, chocolate and spice. The 8% Petite Sirah and 4% Barbera add to its delectable complexity.

The grapes that go into this Zinfandel come from very low-yielding vines. The wine is dark, pulpy, and pure with no oak treatment at all.
