Farbe: Intensives Rubinrot mit granatfarbenen Schattierungen. Bouquet: Delikater Duft mit Anklängen an Veilchen und Erdbeeraroma; würzige Noten von Zimt, Pfeffer und Zedernholz unterstützt von angenehmen Röstaromen. Geschmack: Weicher, anhaltender Auftakt, ausgeprägte Würznoten begleitet von einer schönen Röstaromatik, stoffig, anhaltend und robust.

Umberto Cesari is located in the Emilia-Romagna D.O.C. and lies on the border of the more reputable and famous for vino D.O.C. Toscana. Umberto Cesari and his wife, Giuliana, founded their estate in Castel San Pietra. They expanded their vineyards as well as their family, and it remains a family winery producing typical reds and whites of the region. This Sangiovese Riserva is produced from only the best clusters of grapes. This wine has an intense cherry aroma with a touch of violets followed by a full, rich flavour with firm tannins.
