Expansive and deeply concentrated but fresh, offering lively citrus and pit fruit flavors and exotic notes of spicecake and jasmine. Smoky lees add richness and carry through an impressively long, juicy, smoky finish. I really like this wine's blend of palate-coating richness and mineral-driven vivacity. (Dec 2009)
