A beautiful expression of elegance, this Champagne is creamy with a delicate mousse, tastes of freshly baked croissants blending with focused minerality on the end. A remarkable find.

A beautiful expression of elegance, this Champagne is creamy with a delicate mousse. It tastes of freshly baked croissants and crunchy minerals. A remarkable find from winemaker Olivier Collin who was profoundly changed after apprenticing with Anselme Selosse.


Winemaker's Notes:

93 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): Yellow-gold with a delicate bead. Spicy, highly perfumed bouquet of orange rind, lemon pith, green almond, smoky minerals and white flowers. Expansive and deeply concentrated but fresh, offering lively citrus and pit fruit flavors and exotic notes of spicecake and jasmine. Smoky lees add richness and carry through an impressively long, juicy, smoky finish. I really like this wine's blend of palate-coating richness and mineral-driven vivacity. (Dec 2009)
