Tasting this wine at Wine & Blogs meeting in a hidden village called Copons in the depths of Catalonia interior and it's hot around 30º C.

A nice golden yellow colour gleaming with so much light around. Getting a wealth of frutis and flowers within a rich jammy background.

Granacha gives it structure and body indeed you might guess it has been aged in the barrel for 6 months as it has a buttery texture in the mouth. Acidity and structure well balanced. Perhaps not appropriate for the occasion and heat - a lighter fresher white would have been better.

We'd suggest that this is a wine better matched with a romantic meal for two by the sea - Sitges for example with a fideua as the main course preceeded by oysters, mussels and clams.
