Dense colour, dark purple plum.

Gloriously generous fruit with subtle
complimentary overtones of vanillin
spice; enhancing, rather than
dominating, the wonderful spicy plum
fruit of this wine.

Oodles of rich juicy fruit. It shows
delicious and distinctive mocha,
chocolate and sweet plum characters.
Backed by a lush, plush mouthfeel
laced with an underlying black

- B&B, Bold and Beautiful, dark - inky dark in the glass, with powerful notes of cedar in the nose, and wondrous peppery fruits and pencil shavings in the mouth. Earthy and apocalyptic, it's pricy but a rare find, it tastes much more expensive than it is. This is my idea of a Shiraz.

- Two Hands Shiraz Lily's Garden Barossa In stock. Not rated at Press time, but in the last 5 years the ratings from Parker were 93-96.
- August 2008
- Deep colour intensity of inky purple; a lovely shade. Slow developing legs, plump and luscious with a deep berry nose. Ultra-smooth mouthfeel, spice and rich, intense ripe fruit. Well-balanced and silky. The spice (black pepper) turns to anise, then to rich berry in the complex, interesting (and long) finish. Great stuff.
