Two Hands Gnarly Dudes Shiraz 2007

Deep purple to black with great depth. Powerful dark fruits explode from the glass revealing dark purple and black fruits such as plum and blackcurrant alongside complex aromas of roasted meats, dark chocolates, charcoal and aniseed. The palate is soft on first approach with great focus showcasing pure Barossa flavors of dark fruits and powerful but balanced tannins. The 2007 Gnarly Dudes is one of the strongest vintages in its relatively short history.

Varietal 100% Barossa Shiraz Closure Screw Cap Size 750ml Alc/Vol 14.6% Enjoy Now - 2016 Colour deep purple to black. Lifted aromas of raspberries- spice- fennel- espresso and milk chocolate. The palate is very clean and fruit friendly- medium body with firm but textured tannins. The acid and tannins balance the wine's red and dark cherry flavours. The wine has the ability to reward in the medium term- 5-8 years if cellared correctly. The color is deep and dark. The nose is eavy and tart. The initial taste is sharp and slightly bitter. The taste is sharp and minimal sweetness. The roof of the mouth clings to the wine for about 15 seconds. The follow through lingers for a while and is slightly tart. The flavor is all grape. I cannot taste the barrel at all. All in all, I have had better wines.
