($30) Inky purple. Intensely perfumed nose offers vibrant dark berry and candied plum aromas, with an exotic twist of floral oils and baking spices. Broad and sweet in the mouth, with juicy blackberry and cassis flavors perked up by slow-building cinnamon and clove spiciness. Finishes with excellent precision and persistence.

Good nose of blueberry muffin and shiraz tones, but with a little barnyard.
Sugary, syrupy on the palate. Too sweet for me.

Delicious, fruity, peppery, pencil shavings, wonderful nose. Outstanding Shiraz for a good price. Just an outstanding effort and it's young yet. Wait a couple years, it'll knock your socks off.

Dark black. The nose shows lifted notes of spice, followed by an amalgam of fresh espresso, rich chocolate, dark cherries and freshly roasted almonds. The mouthfeel is long, dense and coating with luscious licorice, mocha, spice and blackberry flavors. With more fruit weight and tannin than previous vintages, this is a lot of fun to drink now but will age nicely.

is aromatic and lush, with anise, espresso, chocolate and toast accenting ripe blackberry and black cherry fruit. With a long, smooth, creamy finish. Ready to drink now and over the next three or four years.
