Tart, fresh, lemony, slighty fizzy find. Steam some clams in this with garlic, onions, butter and herbs while sipping a glass on the side. Don't forget to buy some crusty bread for dipping in broth!

my first vinho verde. maybe I'm not ready yet, or maybe it's simply too dry for my taste.

This is honestly THE WORST vinho verde I have ever tasted. There is nothing going on here but acidity; No balance, no fruit, nothing. Spend your money elsewhere.

Concord grape jelly and jolly rancher aromas with just a touch of citrus spice. Palate is light, light bodied, slightly oily with melon, peach and kiwi. Refreshing.

Ripe fruit, in a good way, with plum, apple, blackberries, and apricots. The mouth is noticeably acidic, and very mildly tannic. Overall it's pretty well balanced, and the smokey oak flavors provide a nice finish.

Minerally, green apple, notable acids with minimal aromas.

More of that unique metallic dusty dark fruit nose I'm learning is the calling card of Touriga Nacional. Mixed perfectly with the syrah, resulting in a spice and blood bath, although pleasant. There's some potpourri and zin-like chalky sweetness on the finish. I'm digging this.

Light, low-alcohol, citrusy and fresh. Ideal deck white.

A crisp and racy white with green apple, lime and a hint of menthol, all tucked beneath a spicy veil. A tongue-tingling effervescence, along with bright acidity, makes this an awesome match for shellfish and raw-bar items.

A spritzy, fresh and vibrant white wine that boasts meyer lemons, zesty tangy limes and white flowers. A fruity and light-bodied white wine that's forever on our list of warm weather musts.

This is minerally, with citrus and sea salt flavors that are crisp and fresh. Drink now.

The perfect summer apéritif, this light, fresh, crisp wine tastes just drier than previous vintages, allowing the apple and lemon fruits to shine even more. It has a tight, taut aftertaste, leaving the mouth clean and refreshed.

Crisp apples, touched with some sweetness, but finely clean and fresh, this is a great aperitif style of Vinho Verde, finishing with just a sparkle. Screwcap.

The esteemed Portuguese winery of José Maria da Fonseca is the oldest and one of the most prestigious in all of Europe. The Soares Franco family owns José Maria da Fonseca and has been involved in the wine business for over 160 years. Twin Vines celebrates the May 2007 birth of the twin daughters of António Maria Soares Franco Jr., the newest members of the José Maria da Fonseca family. It is a refreshing white wine from the Vinho Verde region in northwest Portugal. Traditional grape varieties, Loureiro, Trajadura and Pedernã are carefully selected, fermented in temperature controlled conditions and bottled while it still has a refreshing hint of spritz.
