Fall Creek Vineyards was established in 1975 by Texas businessman/rancher, Ed Auler and his wife, Susan. The vineyards are located eighty miles northwest of Austin in the Texas Hill Country where the sandy loam soil, warm days and cool breezes off Lake Buchanan provide an excellent microclimate for growing premium wine grapes.
I visitied Fall Creek last month and being a novice wine drinker, was naturally attracted to a lighter, sweeter, flavor. This wine is helping me grow up. (smile) I love it! Wine usually gives me a headache, but I can (and have) consumed an entire bottle of this wine in one sitting with no ill effects. It has a great light flavor, and frankly once I open the bottle, I want to drink it all. Thanks Fall Creek!
Where can I buy this wine in Iowa near Omaha NE.
I am a novice wine drinker who only drank White Zinfandel. A friend mistakenly bought a bottle of this, thinking I preferred Red Wines. I tried it to be polite, anticipating the worst and was so pleasantly surprise. Now I prefer this to my WZ.
Where can I buy this wine in Florida?
Wonderful, wonderful wine! I hope to visit Fall Creek soon!
