Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Another very nice Cabernet for the price of around $20. Not much of a nose on the wine, but a beautiful garnet color that is a very easy drinking and pleasant wine. Great value! I'm going for another glass as we speak! Cheers!

Rigorous vineyard management and traditional viticulture and eonological techniques are utilized in building the wines of Twenty Rows. The 2009 Cabernet is crafted from carefully selected grapes to yield an intense, deeply colored wine of concentrated aromas and flavors. The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Mt. Veeder and Yountville. The wine opens up with dark cherries and black currants. Then shows hints of chocolate, tobacco and graphite. Dense texture and a fine sense of balance enhance the pleasing aromatics of blackberry and vanilla bean. - Winery

All Napa Valley fruit, the Twenty Rows Cab has just a smidge of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec to add depth and complexity. Rich and bold, this is a winner for any mushroom risotto, bleu cheese or grilled meat dish.

Blended with a smidge of Merlot and Cab Franc to add depth and complexity, and then aged in French oak for 14 months, the Twenty Rows Cab is teeming with cassis, blackberry, anise and cedar. The bold spice and fruit on the palate are balanced by supple tannins and the lengthy finish is smooth and dry. Serve this with any braised meat dishes.
