Notes on the Twenty Bench Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 : NVWE NOTES: This fine Cabernet has appealing aromas of dark cherry, vanilla, black fig and earth, with hints of red currant and dry red rose. The impression of rich fruit tied to oaky spice continues on the palate, where things are firmer and a bit toastier. The red currant, vanilla and earth notes are stronger at the finish and the wine seems drier and more clearly directed toward food service. Appealing all by itself, it is better with food and will be especially good with roast beef and steaks.
